Job Description
Member of the Software/Firmware design team in a start up developing leading edge integrated ICs for the consumer market. In this role you will perform micro architecture definition, will be working on a high level simulator (in C and matlab) for the chip (which concentrates on the algorithm level), and on a cycle based low level simulator, which simulates the micro architecture of the chip. In addition you will also take a leading role in the development of low level firmware/microcode which will run on the programmable DSP's embedded inside the chip. You will also perform verification and maintenance of the internal units, taking a leading role in module level and integration level test methodology definition, implementation and regression testing management with the VLSI team. You will also interface with customers in regards to future product requirements and current product enhancements, and interact with all design groups providing consultation, direction and review.

Requirements
• Must have an Electrical Engineering B.S.C degree.
• At least 3 years of experience with designing real time digital signal processing algorithms and their firmware implementation on DSPs.
• Strong theoretical digital signal processing theory background.
• C and Assembly language programming skills.
• Should have exposure and good understanding of IC design flow.
• Proven technical leadership experience with development teams.
• Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English (written and verbal).
• Good interpersonal skills.
