Key Responsibilities:
Provide highway design service and design review of master plans and work produced by other consultants. Management of traffic surveys including the compiling of Scopes of Work and technical requirements. Analysis of design traffic at the entrance to specific facilities to understand: traffic flow capacity, geometric data (designed radii, roundabouts, traffic islands, traffic signage etc.) and compliance with national statutory regulations. Compilation of Scopes of Work for different design tasks. Input to technical specifications for Detailed Design packages to be sub-contracted.
Required Background & Experience:
B.Sc in Civil Engineering having specialised in traffic planning as part of the degree course.
Registration in the Register of Engineers.
Minimum 5 years work experience in the field
Very good written and spoken English.
Experience with traffic simulation software would be an advantage.
